Most of the buildings in Champeix are surfaced in plaster, as compared to the older stone buildings of Montaigue. They are very colourful and attractive in their own right

One of the outdoor cafes in Champeix where we would have a pre-dinner drink most nights. I liked Kir, which is white wine and cassis. The buildings along this part of the road in Champeix almost look like a stage setting
